*** NEW WORKSHOP!!***
HEALING DREAMS
Saturday, February 20, 2010
9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Boulder, Colorado
- Do all dreams come in the service of healing? If so, how can we better understand their language?
- What about nightmares, recurrent dreams, animal dreams?
- Is there a difference between an "ordinary" dream and an "extraordinary" dream? If there is, how canwe recognize the difference?
- If we have difficulty remembering our dreams, what tools might we use to recall them more easily?
- What are the most effective ways to work with dreams?
This experiential workshop, limited to ten participants, will
explore many aspects of dreaming, especially from the teachings of Carl
Jung. In an atmosphere of safety and compassion, we will use a group
dream process to work with participants' volunteered dreams. This deep
imaginal process has the potential to bring a profound understanding of
dream images to the dreamer and each member of the group. It is
powerful and potentially transformative.
Bring a dream! It can be recent, recurrent, or one you have long
puzzled over. Begin writing your dreams upon awakening (or in the
middle of the night) if you are not already doing so. If you have
difficulty remembering dreams, come anyway to learn how.

Gathering the Soul ... in the Wilderness
Each Summer one or two "Gathering the Soul . . . in the Wilderness" retreats will be offered. The first ever "Gathering the Soul . . . on Horseback" journeys took place in the summer of 2003 in Yellowstone National Park. The "Gathering the Soul ... in the Wilderness" retreat was held last summer at the Blacktail Ranch in Wolf Creek, Montana. Seven days and six nights, including arrival and departure days, of encountering inner and outer wilderness, each serving as mirror for the other. Be prepared to leave your ordinary life behind as you enter into this potentially transformative experience. Included will be meditation, dreamwork, personal process, journaling and journeying, as well as horseback riding in an incredibly beautiful backcountry environment rarely seen by most humans. Eagles, hawks, elk, moose, and bears call this land home. Deepen your appreciation for and connection to the natural world and to parts of yourself that have been neglected, denied, or forgotten in your attempts to conform to the needs of your family of origin and contemporary society.

... in the Wilderness retreat coming soon.
