AUGUST 5 - 11, 2018

You are invited to join me in exploring inner and outer wilderness at the beautiful Diamond J Ranch in Ennis, Montana!

Experience the healing power of mountains and forests, rivers, sunshine, blue sky, and the companionship of kindred spirits. For seven days and six nights, including arrival and departure days, we will enjoy the wide open spaces of Big Sky Country on a historic ranch not far from Yellowstone National Park. Leaving our “civilized” world behind, we will awaken to our own wildness as we connect deeply with nature, horses, and ourselves.

Our time together will include Meditation, Jungian and Robert Moss-based Dreamwork, Journaling and Shamanic Journeying, Ceremony, and Horse and Nature as Mirror. Your relationship with your assigned horse will serve, like the wilderness itself, as a mirror to your own psyche. It will be an important focus for learning as well as pleasure.  Non-riders will be guided to experience Nature as Mirror.

Gatherings will be held in a lovely cabin as well as outdoors. During the week we will have ample opportunity to ride: a two hour ride and an all day (4-5 hour) ride, plus an optional ride on our free afternoon (billed separately). On our last afternoon we will gather at a lovely picnic site where we will experience the transformative power of ceremony and song and a shamanic journey for each person to find her sacred gift.

In this breathtaking setting we may be awed by a fox running across a meadow, a bear feeding on a hillside, an eagle soaring overhead. We may hear a coyote or wolf howling in the evening sunset as we gather around the fire pit. If we are really fortunate, we might even see a lynx or a wolverine!

The Diamond J prides itself on its excellent food and comfortable, rustic cabins, as well as its inviting lodge. A labyrinth, a gazebo in the midst of lovely garden paths, a hot tub, and a swimming pool (!) round out the amenities.

Fee: $2975 for riders; $2675 for non-riders

A $100 discount is available if registration is received by April 1.  The fee includes a double occupancy room in a large cabin with four bedrooms, a living room, and two baths; all meals; use of the hot tub and pool; gratuities; and all planned activities including horseback riding, as described above.

There may be single cabins available; if you want one and it’s available, add $450. A deposit of $500 is required to hold your reservation. The remainder is due May 15. Deposits are refundable except for a $100 handling fee up until May 15; after May 15 there will be no refunds unless someone takes your place, in which case you will receive a full refund except for a $100 handling fee.

BONUS! Refer someone who hasn’t attended the retreat before and if she registers you will receive a $100 discount.

Other important information: In June you will be sent a questionnaire, suggested pack list, and additional guidance from me that will help you prepare for the inner as well as the outer journey. The Bozeman airport is less than 2 hours from the ranch. You can rent a car and drive to the ranch, or a shuttle can be arranged. Round trip shuttle fee is $175-$200.

Come because you want to experience “The Last Best Place” . . .

Come because you love horses . . .

Come because your soul is calling you to go deeper . . .

Come because dreams are knocking on the door of your consciousness, and you’re ready to

pay attention . . .

Come because you want to be more awake, more alive, more of who you really are . . .

Just come.

Blessings -

“Connie is an excellent teacher, storyteller, and guide. She brings vast knowledge and laughter to the workshops. There was intensity as well as humor. I felt safe and well cared for. This is a must for anyone seeking to expand their consciousness, play with horses, see astounding natural beauty in wild untouched nature, and develop new friendships. My heart is full. Thank you!”C.T.

“The Dreamwork was amazing. I loved the process. Connie is a true healer. I appreciate her organization and the activities she provided for a full week. Her caring and kindness is reflected in everything she does--truly an excellent group leader. Her great knowledge and experience made this retreat a real learning and growing experience for me.”

“I loved the horseback riding, time on the mountain, the variety of dreamwork, especially the dream drama, and the evening ride up in the hills. The afternoon off was perfect, the timing of the rides, and the gatherings.”
